Back to School
Yesterday was the first day of the 2014-2015 academic year at Maryland, and also the first day of GEMS202 and 296, both Gemstone classes/meetings in which our team will continue to flesh out and develop our research question(s) and methodology. We had an extensive discussion with our 202 section leader regarding where our research is headed, our proposed methodology, and a re-discussion of our team norms, just to make sure all of us as team members are accountable for our work, and that we as a team are able to produce the best work we can produce. Tomorrow we have another team meeting, where we will compare sources we found over the summer through our preliminary lit review--our final lit review is due at the end of September (so soon!), so it is essential that we collaborate and compare our sources. Before we know it, our research proposal draft will be due, so we really need to stay on top of everything!
